Paul L. Damon, DDS
Dr. Paul L. Damon is a native of Spokane Valley, Washington and comes from a family of orthodontists. After graduating from University High School, he went on to complete his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington and then attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he graduated near the top of his class. He completed his orthodontic residency in 1999 at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Paul is dedicated to the advancement of the orthodontic profession. He is a Damon® System Mentor to many orthodontists around the world. He lectures and educates about the innovative technology of passive self-ligation braces. He is involved in several professional study clubs and organizations, including the Progressive 2 Study Club, AAO, PCSO and ADA. He has been awarded as one of the Top Orthodontists in Spokane for several years. In addition, Dr. Paul is active in the Spokane community, supporting organizations like the Ronald McDonald House of Spokane, Coaches vs. Cancer, Hutton Settlement and many other school and youth organizations.
As an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys golfing and boating, Dr. Paul can also be found spending time with family and friends at the lake during the summer. He and his wife, Kelley, have three children, Logan, Ella and Gavin.
Dwight H. Damon, DDS
Dr. Dwight Damon was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and went to Washington State University on an athletic scholarship playing basketball and baseball. After his undergraduate studies Dr. Damon went on to the University of Washington where he studied dentistry and completed his advanced dental training in Orthodontics.
Dr. Damon has maintained an Orthodontic practice in his native Spokane for almost 40 years. He is a pioneer in the field working to improve the quality and efficiency of clinical orthodontics. He is especially recognized for his development of the "Damon Bracket System", a passive self-ligation dental braces system that allows low-friction, low-force treatment in aligning teeth. This innovative system has literally transformed the way orthodontists practice and the results they can achieve. The Damon Bracket System has been revolutionary to the field of Orthodontics around the world. Dr. Damon is a frequent lecturer at courses and forums around the world and has received numerous awards and professional honors. Recently, he was the 2009 Washington State University recipient of the Regents' Distinguished Alumnus Award, the highest honor the University confers upon its alumni.
Dr. Damon is an avid golfer and enjoys spending as much time as possible with family and friends.
